As a Data Consultant at Mount Analytics, you'll work on complex data challenges and help organizations get more value from their data. From structuring and analyzing data to developing models and solutions, you'll combine curiosity and technology to create results that work in practice.

Your role

As a Data Consultant at Mount Analytics, you'll work on a wide range of data and analytics challenges for our clients. You'll help organizations understand complex data landscapes and translate data into clear, practical insights and solutions.

We look beyond technology alone. You'll start with the client's challenge: what does the organization want to achieve, what data and analyses are needed, and how can technology be used to create real value?

You'll work alongside colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertise, ranging from data and software development to Finance and Risk.

Depending on the project, your work may include:

• Analyzing and translating business challenges into data and analytics solutions
• Collecting, structuring and processing data
• Developing and improving data models
• Exploring and analyzing data to identify patterns, relationships and trends
• Measuring and improving data quality
• Developing, implementing and validating algorithms and models
• Translating analyses into clear reports and visualizations
• Supporting clients with the implementation of data solutions
• Working with business, data and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions align with the organization's objectives

You'll learn not only how to develop technically strong solutions, but also how to ensure that data and technology actually contribute to better decision-making.

More than just your client project

At Mount Analytics, you won't only work on solutions for our clients. From the start, you'll also have the opportunity to help build Mount Analytics itself.

Alongside your client project, you'll take ownership of an internal responsibility. You might contribute to the development of a new analytical model or product, explore emerging technologies, share knowledge with colleagues, support recruitment or contribute to an internal initiative.

Have an interesting idea or see a new application for data or technology? You'll have the space to explore and develop it further.

Who are you?

You're curious and analytical and want to understand how things really work. You enjoy working with data and technology while keeping the underlying business challenge in mind.

At the beginning of your career, you don't need to know exactly what you want to specialize in yet. What matters more to us is that you're eager to learn, enjoy solving complex problems and are curious about new technologies and ideas.

In addition:

• You have a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example in Data Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or a related field
• You have 0–2 years of relevant work experience
• You have an affinity with data, analytics and technology
• You have strong analytical skills and can structure complex information
• You enjoy understanding both technical and business challenges
• You enjoy working with colleagues and clients from different backgrounds
• You take initiative and are curious about emerging technologies and applications
• Experience with data modelling, programming, data visualization and/or analytics is a plus
• Experience within the financial sector is a plus
• You're fluent in English (and have a basic understanding of Dutch)
