Take the next step in your consulting career and play a key role in complex Finance and Risk transformations. As a Senior Consultant at Mount, you'll take ownership within projects, advise clients directly and share your expertise with junior colleagues, while continuing to develop your own expertise.

Your role

As a Senior Consultant at Mount Consulting, you'll work on multidisciplinary transformation projects for leading financial institutions, from design through to implementation.

You'll take ownership of your work within projects and work directly with client stakeholders to turn complex Finance and Risk challenges into practical and sustainable solutions. Based on the insights and analyses you and your team provide, clients make strategic decisions, transform their Finance and Risk processes and implement new regulatory requirements.

Depending on the project, your work may include:

• Analyzing Finance and Risk landscapes and translating your findings into strategic and practical solutions
• Designing and implementing Finance and Risk processes and operating models
• Developing transformation roadmaps and contributing to complex Finance transformation programs
• Analyzing regulatory requirements and their impact on data, processes, systems and organizations
• Helping clients interpret and implement new regulations and developments, such as ESG requirements
• Leading discussions with client stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities and facilitating decision-making
• Taking ownership of project workstreams and guiding junior colleagues along the way

As a Senior Consultant, you're increasingly the link between analysis and advice. You don't just identify what needs to change, you help clients understand why and turn recommendations into action.

Who are you?

You're analytically strong, comfortable taking ownership and enjoy turning complex challenges into clear recommendations. You build strong relationships with clients and colleagues and know how to bring people along with your ideas. You also enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping less experienced colleagues develop.

In addition:

• You have a relevant Master's degree, for example in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• You have 2–5 years of relevant experience within consulting, financial services or a comparable environment
• You have experience with Finance and/or Risk transformation challenges
• You're comfortable taking ownership of a workstream or project deliverable
• You have strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• You enjoy working directly with clients and facilitating stakeholder discussions
• You take initiative and have an entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with financial institutions, their products and processes and/or relevant regulation is a plus
• You're fluent in English (and have at least a basic understanding of Dutch)
