Why did you choose to join Mount Consulting?
I kicked off my career at Rabobank, taking on a variety of roles in risk and change management. Those years built a strong foundation in financial services and gave me over two decades of hands-on experience. What drives me is leading (change) projects where enterprise risk, financial risk, data, and analytics meet. A few years back, I made the move into consulting. Along the way, I had the chance to work with some of Mount Consulting’s team members, so when I was ready for a new challenge, reaching out to them felt like a natural next step. The people, combined with their deep, content-driven approach to projects, made joining Mount Consulting an easy decision.
What is your favorite moment at Mount Consulting so far?
Without a doubt, the warm welcome and the openness of everyone in the office really stood out. It instantly made me feel at home. Another highlight was the surprise trip organized to celebrate Mount Consulting’s 5-year anniversary — definitely an unforgettable experience.

What is one piece of advice you would like to give starting consultants?
As you step into the world of consulting, remember this: Don’t rush — focus on direction over speed.
In consulting, it’s easy to prioritize quick results. But real success comes from staying true to your values, moving with intention, and building trust with every step.
You’re going to face change, challenges, and sometimes even a bit of chaos — and that’s okay. It’s not about avoiding the tough moments; it’s about how you respond to them. Bring resilience, curiosity, and a mindset that sees problems as opportunities, not obstacles.
And always remember that consulting is a collaborative effort. Great outcomes are built together — by empowering others, valuing every voice, and critical thinking. That’s how trust is earned, and how true impact is made. At the end of the day, consulting is about making meaningful, lasting change for the organizations and people we serve. Stay committed to that purpose, and you will not only succeed — you’ll thrive.

What do you like to do besides your work?
Outside of work I like to be active, you’ll most likely find me on the tennis court, enjoying long walks, or experimenting in the kitchen.
Can potential candidates contact you to get to know more?
